When writing articles, start by clearly defining what you wish to write about. Focus on the subject and the overall message that you want to communicate. Sometimes you may begin with a title then expand from there, and other times the title may be the last thing you write.

Structure your material (be it knowledge, thoughts, or opinions) into a reasonable sequence or order. Don't try for the finished product in the first draft. Just allow your mind, and words, to move and get some stuff down on paper. This may occur in a single writing, for lengthier articles, it could be done in several rough draft sessions possibly broken into logical parts of what will eventually turn into your finished article.
